They are the sound of today’s generation. Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, two students of graphic design bored with hierarchy, joined forces in 2003 to create JUSTICE, a vehicle to experiment and invent hybrid genres combining music and image, blending indie, pop and electronic borders, and so becoming two fascinating and passionate pop culture craftsmen
Pedro Winter aka Busy P’s label Ed Banger Records immediately signed JUSTICE after hearing ‘We Are Your Friends’, which, with its joyful electro beats and exhilarating voices marked a reconciliation of pop with the dancefloor, and became the dance anthem of the year 2006. Since then their ascent has been constant with two albums – including the Audio, Video, Disco LP that came out this year on Ed Banger Records – and a slew of remixes for the likes of MGMT, U2, N.E.R.D, Lenny Kravitz, Franz Ferdinand, Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk and more.
The Grammy Award and MTV Award winning French duo play their magnificently electric dj set for the first time in Bali on July 26. Only in your imagination will it get better than this, so don’t miss the second installation of high season madness at Bali’s unparalleled party location, Potato Head Beach Club.
